2007 Drover's Camp Bush Poetry Poetry must be: - Traditional - Written before 1956
- Modern - Work other than your own (Not traditional)
- Original - Written and performed by the author
- It must be verse with rhyme and rhythm written about Australia or the Australian way of life.
- Time limit - 8 min. This includes your preamble. Penalty applies.

- Novice category: Anyone who has not been placed 1st in a novice competition. Competitors are eligible to compete in Intermediate category but not in open category. Competitors may read their poems but this may disadvantage them slightly in adjudication.
- Intermediate Category: Anyone who has not been placed 1st in any intermediate competition or 1st , 2nd , or 3rd in any open competition. Competitors are eligible to compete in open category. Competitors in the Intermediate Category cannot read their poems.
- Open Category: Competitors cannot read their poems in this category.
- Overall Champion Poet: The overall champion poet will be a poet from the Open Section with the highest aggregate points. The joint decision of the judging panel is final. No discussion will be entered into.
- Closing Date: 5pm Friday 24th August, 2007.
