Conditions of Entry

Nomination and Entry Forms

Photos and entry form must be recieved by 22.08.07.
Entry fee - $1.00 per photo.

Amateur Requirements

Entry must be photographed by the competitor (developing and printing excepted).
A competitor's principal source of income must not come from photography.

Right of refusal

The festival committee reserves the right not to exhibit any entry which in its opinion may cause offence.

Size and Mountings

Maximum size for all photos 11"x14" (30x35cms). Minimum size for all photos 6"x4" (15x10cms).
All photographs must be mounted on cardboard backing with 2cm. or more border around for display.
Framed or unmounted photographs will not be accepted.

Insurance

Officials will exercise all care for entries but will not be held responsible for loss or damage to photographs whilst in their possession.
Competitors must take personal insurance arrangements if considered necessary.

Sales

Entries for sale must be marked e.g. "FOR SALE $.....".
5% proceeds go to the festival committee in aid of next years competition.

Judges decision

The judges decision shall be final and legally binding.

Collection

Photographic exhibits and certificates can be collected on Sunday or from the Information Centre after Monday, or will be returned if pre-postage sent at time of nomination.
Photographs that have won at any competition are not eligible.
